Jennifer Dentinger is Service Unit 141′s Unit Manager. Jennifer stepped up to lead the service unit two years ago, on top of co-leading both of her daughters’ troops. The service unit has thrived under her leadership. She was a local girl scout when she was younger and her passion for girl scouting continues. She has a huge heart and her entire focus is on the girls. She always makes sure everyone has an opportunity to participate despite any challenges they face. Each month she finds and presents service opportunities for all of the troops in the service unit. She goes above and beyond in helping troops reach out to the community. She also reinstated recruitment nights and many more girls benefit from girl scouting as a direct result of her efforts. The benefits and events are endless, just to name a few: visit to Liberty Ridge Farm, Christmas carling, Equinox Thanksgiving projects, spring food drive, Decades Dance, encampments, Bridging Ceremony, Disney on Ice, Proctor’s shows, and many, many more….In addition to all that she does for the girl scouts, she also manages to be active in softball, soccer, and school events! She is a joy to be around and is always smiling. The girls are lucky to have such a great role model. We thank you Jen for your dedicated service to the girls!
