Emily Guby is a leader of Senior Girl Scouts for the Saratoga Area Community. She is a tremendous advocate for the young ladies in her troop. Emily has fully embraced the ideals of the National Program Portfolio and helps others in her community develop better understanding. Her dynamic approach allows these high school girls to experience Girl Scouts on their terms. To paraphrase one of her troop members, “Working on the GirlTopia Journey with Mrs. Guby has allowed me to see the changes we’ve made”, in reference to their Take Action project of helping the teenage girls that were victims of the recent flooding in our council. Emily Guby embodies all of the fantastic virtues we think of when we think of Girl Scouts.

  1. Emily is wonderful. She cares deeply about Girl Scouting and inspires both her girls and her fellow volunteers. Thank you for bringing that ‘Girl Scout spirit’ to everything you do, Emily. And I do mean EVERYTHING – you are always ready to go the extra mile to do whatever needs to be done. We appreciate you, Emily.
