  • Non-Girl Scout Groups

    Escape to the Outdoors!

    Whether you are looking for an ideal meeting space away from the office, a team-building experience for your members, or a scenic place to host a youth camp we have the perfect site for your organization at one of our beautiful Girl Scout properties. You have the option to choose between heated lodges, platform tents, and lean-tos, or even pitch your own tent. With campfires, hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, snow shoe and cross-country skiing trails, ice skating, and sledding hills you’ll find so much to do you’ll want to come back for more!

    The GSNENY properties available year-round include Camp Is-Sho-Da in East Greenbush, Camp Woodhaven in Galway, Camp Meadowbrook in Queensbury, Hidden Lake Camp in Lake George, and Lake Clear Camp in Lake Clear – Summer only (approx. mid May – mid September).

    Get away from the office for awhile and come take a site tour with us today! We are happy to provide a guided tour with knowledgeable staff for your group at your convenience.

    Arrangements for family reunions, showers, family picnics or other special events, as well as non-profit and corporate groups may be made by contacting us.

    Applications are accepted for camping dates up to one year in advance of the reservation date.

    Camp Woodhaven is located on a 400 acre wooded site north of Galway Village. It features a large playing field, pond, beach, creek, hiking trails, cabins, platform tents, a nature center, and a Troop House.

    Buildings available for rental (day or overnight use):

    • Troop House side 1 (Heated year round lodge with electricity, running water, bathroom facilities (toilet, sink), kitchen, mattresses, tables, chairs, and a fire place. Sleeps 15)
    • Troop House side 2 (Heated year round lodge with electricity, running water, bathroom facilities (toilet, sink shower), kitchen, mattresses, tables, chairs, and a fire place. Sleeps 25)

    Outdoor Units (day or overnight use):

    • Gypsy (cabins, sleeps 22)
    • Lumber Jill (cabins and platform tents, sleeps 27 people)
    • Long House (building with fireplace, refrigerator, and mattresses, not winterized, sleeps 13)
    • Pioneer (platform tents, sleeps 24)

    Each outdoor unit has a covered shelter area for cooking and activities during inclement weather, drinking water, and an outhouse.

    Lake Clear Camp is situated 91 scenic acres of land on a peninsula in Lake Clear. Located 20 miles from Lake Placid and adjacent to the St. Regis Canoe Area, Lake Clear Camp is surrounded by breathtaking state land in the Adirondack Park. Facilities at Lake Clear Camp include renovated cabins (for 2009) with full baths (toilet, sink and shower), a dining hall, a health center, a shower house, buildings for programming and inclement weather, a playing field, swimming and boating areas and hiking trails.

    Hidden Lake Camp is nestled on 400 acres in the Southern portion of the Adirondack Park, approximately 3 miles from Lake George Village. The camp includes a small private lake, streams, low mountains, and woodlands. Facilities at Hidden Lake Camp include, platform tents and lean-to units, a modern dining hall, health lodge, shower house, buildings for programming and inclement weather, a large playing field, swimming and boating areas, a high and low ropes course and hiking trails.

    Buildings available for rental (day or overnight use):

    • Winter Lodge (sleeps 29)
    • Health Lodge (sleeps 15)
    • Wrights Cottage (sleeps 12)
    • Dining Hall (sleeps 45)

    All lodges are open year round and have heat, electricity, running water, bathroom facilities (toilets, sinks, showers), kitchen, mattresses, tables, and chairs. Some have fire places.

    Outdoor Units (day or overnight use):

    • Hemlock Hill (platform tents, sleeps 30)
    • Red Oak (platform tents, sleeps 24)
    • Tuscarora (platform tents, sleep 28)
    • Pioneer (lean-tos, sleeps 29)
    • Mohican (lean-tos, sleep16)
    • Pine Top (lean-tos, sleeps 26)
    • Nature Shack (lean-tos, sleep17)
    • Boat House (building with a electricity, stove, refrigerator, and wood stove, sleeps 18)
    • Totem Inn (building with electricity, refrigerator, wood stove, sink and toilet, sleeps 5)

    Camp Meadowbrook, located on nearly 14 acres in Queensbury, has many unique features.  These include a splash pad, a double tree house, nature trail, fun and fitness trail, ceremonial area, a brook, playing field, a horizontal climbing wall, covered wagons and three lodges with indoor plumbing.

    Buildings available for rental (day or overnight use):

    • Friendship Lodge: Sleeps 45 people.
    • Winter Lodge: Sleeps 16 people.
    • Nature Lodge: Sleeps 16 people.

    All lodges are open year round and have heat, electricity, running water and bathroom facilities, kitchen, mattresses, tables, chairs, and a fire place.  Friendship Lodge is the only building with showers.

    Camp Is-Sho-Da is situated on 100 acres of fields and woods in East Greenbush. It has hiking trails, a 5-acre pond for swimming and boating, a large playfields, a pavilion, a nature center, platform tents, covered wagons and a lodge.

    Buildings available for rental:

    • Hilltop Lodge: Heated lodge with electricity, running water, bathroom facilities (toilet, sink shower), kitchen, mattresses, tables, chairs, and a fire place. Sleeps 29 people.

    Outdoor Units:

    • Scatecook: Cabin, sleeps 16.
    • Kau-nau-meek: Cabin, sleeps 16.
    • Shodak: Cabin, sleeps 16.
    • Covered Wagons: Three covered wagons, sleeping 4 people each
    • Onteora: Two platform tents, sleeping 4 people each.
    • Anawate: Four platform tents, sleeping 4 people each.
    • Outpost: Primitive tenting, sleeping 24.
    • Pavilion Skills Area

    All units have access to drinking water, outhouses, fire circle and picnic tables
