Do you want to do something BIG to support Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York in our centennial year but don’t have the funds to do so? What if there was a way to have a big impact without giving a dime?
It is possible! Berkshire Bank Foundation is holding a $25,000 giveaway and here’s how you can help GSNENY win some money:
- Go to www.facebook.com/BerkshireBank and click “Like”.
- Click on the page tab “Vote Here Summer of Excitement” (below the “Like” button).
- On that page, click on “Enter Sweepstakes” and then “Go to App”.
- Enter “Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York” as the non-profit name, “Albany” as the city, and “New York” for the state to vote.
The organization with the most votes in each Berkshire Bank region will receive a $5,000 grant. The remaining organizations nominated will be eligible for a drawing to receive one of five $1,000 grants.
Voting takes place through August 31, 2012 with winners announced in September.
If chosen, GSNENY will use the funds to offset program costs for girls living within Berkshire Bank’s service region by giving them $2 off the program fee when they register for a program listed in the fall gs Adventures until the funds are gone. Berkshire Bank’s service region includes Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, and Washington Counties.
Please note that Berkshire Bank’s rules do state that you must be 18 to enter this promotion and you will be ask for some identifying details (name, email address, etc.) to verify that people are only voting one time.
